First win for Swan 2!

There were so many positives to our game I don’t even know where to begin!
All the hard work and fitness Nicola has got us doing in training has really paid off. Unlike our opponents, we were as strong in the fourth quarter as we were in the first.

There was amazing play throughout the court - shooting from Mantha and Martha was flawless, the defensive end really broke down their movement in the circle and caused so many tips. Centre court did a great job at bringing the ball down from defence and feeding our circle. Our pressure we put on the ball was fantastic and resulted in us causing Tongham to force the ball over, which we intercepted so many times. Things to work on include passing in front of each other/ball placement, pulling the ball in and not playing the other teams game, but these were outweighed by all the positives of our matched. Everyone kept their heads up throughout and we were all hungry for the ball and a win, which was why we turned so many balls over and ultimately won.
A well deserved 45-33 win for us all and a great play from each one of us
