Swan Platinums 28 - 40 Ravens

A tough match against decent opposition provided a big challenge for the team. Shooting was difficult in the first quarter with the sun in Poppy and Ellie's eyes, but Platinums raced into a 4-1 lead before being pegged back as everyone got into their stride, falling 11-7 behind by the end of the first quarter. The team adapted well to the more experienced opposition and tried different moves, whilst defensive strength repeatedly kept the Ravens' attack at bay.

A strong third quarter, which was drawn 8-8, gave some hope but the deficit proved to big a gap to bridge given the consistency of Ravens' shooter in particular.

Despite the result this was a great performance on a hot day against experienced opposition. Well done girls!
