Hampshire 2 v Andover Arrows

We knew going into this game it was going to be closely contested and competitive and that it certainly was! We started the first half close only trailing a few behind Andover arrows.

In the first half we saw some great defensive tips from Ali and Becky, both working overtime to hold up andovers shooters. Jenny, Sara and Stacy all brought the ball through midcourt confidently and swiftly ensuring our attack could patiently work it into the shooting circle. Emma, Michelle and Lucy all kept a cool head and shot brilliantly under the tall defence of Andover arrows.

With some unfortunate decisions not going our way and frustration from both sides, we saw a bigger goal difference going into the second half and ultimately Andover taking the win.

Despite the scoreline and decisions out of our control, the swan Hants 2 team showed excellent determination, grit and patience on Sunday. Displaying a variety of skills we have harnessed over the season. We are all looking forward to constructively working on some of the elements from Sundays game and going in strong for our last game of the season.
