Hampshire 2 vs Tongham Tornadoes

On Sunday Hants 2 faced Tongham Tornadoes in their second game of the season. The hard work in training paid of as at the end of the first quarter the two teams were drawing 9 all. Sadly, our fab defender Ali had to retire from the game due to a calf strain but this did not deter Maz, Becky and Daisy from putting in some great defensive work. Tornadoes took the edge in the second quarter gaining a seven goal lead. This did not deter the team and they came back fighting in the second half. The impressive mid court attack and shooting from Lucy, Emma and Hayley saw them draw the second half 18 all. The final result was 41-34 to the tornadoes. The team and coach took lots of positives from the game.
