We were confident going into this match with clear objectives of keeping possession, driving towards the ball and full court defense. Q1 started well with fantastic shooting from Claudia and Eloise and great connections through the court getting the ball to goal. Jenny and Anna proved to be a strong defensive team; with Jenny supporting brilliantly in bringing the ball up court.

The score remained close throughout the middle game with some great contests between us and tonghum thunder players. Hannah provided stability in centre court with great support and speed from Kat at WA. Both Sarah and Daisy had a big impact when playing WD, forcing a lot of turnovers and more importantly chasing the ball down!

Q4 was important as we were up by 2 points but knew tonghum weren't going to let us win easily. Claudia and Eloise continued to get free within the shooting circle and Hayley and Kat worked hard to give the best options and passes into the circle. With the score going up and down the defensive team of Anna and Maz really pulled it out of the bag, both players forcing a lot of missed shots and hunting the ball tirelessly throughout the quarter.
