Hants 1 vs Hants 2

Wow - what a great game! Hants 1 had a very strong start to their first quarter but we kept on fighting back, adding lots of pressure down court and gaining some tips but the first quarter ended 14-5 down, Maz was great at keeping the communication clear with Ali in defense which meant a lot of pressure was added into the Hants 1 attacking circle. With stronger and careful passes around our attacking circle we ended the 2nd quarter stronger at 27-14 . Hannah stepped into C position for the first time of the year at half time as Hayley had to leave and with Clara coming in as GS, adding a different variety of play, Kat injuring her finger and Daisy applying more pressure and sticking tight to her opponent helped with finishing the 3rd quarter at 36-18. With Nicola's wise instructions to "chill out", be confident in one another and to keep possession of the ball for the last quarter, Anna coming back into play strongly and more confident, gaining some tips, along with Ali at the back and Kat's finger letting her play on and clear instructions in the attacking end, with the final result 52-23 to Hants 1.
The final score did not reflect the attacking and defending of Hants 2 and the Swan Hants 1 coach, Mel Arnold said "It was a great game. We found it hard to get the ball into the circle hence so many resets, So much potential!”
