Rushmoor Match report by Paige

The girls had a lovely day at the Rushmoor tournament yesterday. It was really good for the girls to play together as a team again and see some real team bonding.
We had some great support with the parents that came along and thankfully the weather in the end turned out to be really nice.

It was a long day with big gaps between games, the girls started a little slow getting into the swing of things. Unfortunately we were not quick enough at getting ourselves sorted and as soon as we were playing some fantastic netball the final whistle for the game went. We had a great win against Wokingham which really showed the girls just what they are capable of. Unfortunately we did not place very well but it was a great day of netball, gave the girls lots of fresh air and areas to work on. It did also highlight some fantastic play down the court, balls into the shooters and amazing defence that the girls had been working hard on all season. We just need to make sure we keep our grrrr going and get stuck right into these games from the very first whistle ?
