Match report Crystals vs Lymington 14.1.17 from Paige

Well done girls for a fantastic Game against Lymington on Saturday. The girls continue to work very hard and it was mentioned from the opposition how fit all our girls were even though we only had 7 players and at one point 6 due to an injury. We kept fighting and stayed energetic throughout the whole game!! There were some fantastic elements of play and great turnovers. At points we started to panic especially when we did get these turnovers yet the girls noticed this and soon sorted out what they needed to do to convert these to goals. The game started off very close with and within 1 however we managed to eventually pull away and get an 8 point lead.
The shooters scored some amazing goals really showing off there skills with their ball handling skills and positioning within the D. The girls had some great back up from the defense and the defense worked really hard to keep the shooters as far away from the post as possible. The mid court kept the ball flowing nicely down the court and gave some brilliant feeds into the shooters. All the girls had great ball placement and really showed off how they can adapt their game.
Well done girls, you are doing so well this season I am one very proud coach! You might complain about fitness but it has been mentioned by a number of people now how fit you are and how much energy you have when playing a game so keep up the good work!
