SR Development League match vs Marlow Kites

This week the Topaz girls travelled to Slough for our final league match vs Marlow Kites. After a slow first quarter, the girls turned it around and gained on the opposition in each quarter. All defence played very well, they worked as a unit and communicated well meaning they caused errors and forced turnovers. The centre court improved throughout the game with some great drives and pre-moves. The spacing has much improved but we still need to work on our driving angles at times. Movement around the circle was fast with both C and WA protecting space on circle edge and driving into space. Feeding into the circle was accurate and done with patience. The shooters balanced the circle well and their movement is improving each week. Well done to the girls for an excellent final game and a brilliant season. It has been a pleasure to coach such a lovely squad! x
