A great start to the season!
Topaz played some brilliant netball and showed they are bonding well as a team.
Topaz had a great start to the season with a friendly against MSN and Fareham Fireflies. After a nervous start, the girls settled and played some brilliant netball. All players demonstrated some excellent attacking drives and changes of direction, which we have been focusing on at preseason. Circle defence put a lot of pressure on the shooters and read the game well, taking some brilliant interceptions. The team showed a huge improvement through the evening against tough opposition. In the later games, we delayed the play and made it very difficult for the opposition to bring the ball down the court as well as balancing the court well when attacking. Well done girls!
