Winners at Wimborne

Swan U12 Coral at Wimborne Tournament
On Sunday, 26th November, the U12 Swan Coral team played a tournament at Wimborne. We ended up with some incredibly pleasing results! The team won every single match out of the 5 and achieved first position! On our first game, we started off hesitantly but as the game carried, our confidence grew. More goals were scored and some fantastic interceptions were made. The second game was the most nerve-wracking of all! We played Swan Aqua and it was an incredibly close game. By half-time, we were 2-2 but at the last few minutes we persevered and the match ended 4-2 to us. On the third and fourth games, we had a lot magical moments. We all held our breath when the ball was about to go off court but our WA pulled it in just in time! The team had found their pace. The passes were quick and accurate, which helped us win both games. Our last game was full of nail-biting moments as we were all anxious but at the same time willing and ready to win. The first team to score was the opponents, which brought our team spirit down. However, when we scored our first goal, we started to focus and made few mistakes. With a few skilful shots and interceptions, we brought our final score to 11-2, winning the whole tournament. Well done to all the girls that played!
