Swan Amethyst win U11 tournament

The girls arrived at the tournament full of enthusiasm following the Christmas break. They played seven games over the course of the day scoring an impressive 51 goals and conceding just 2. Their toughest game, against fireflies U11, was a great indication of their determination to win. Despite being challenged by a very good team they picked up their game and really fought for the ball finishing the game with a well deserved 3 - 1 win.
Well done to Iona who was playing in her first competitive game for Swan, and thanks also to the parents who came along to cheer the girls on and to help Lindsay with the scoring and stats.
