Rubies win at Clan 38 - 33

After a slow start, we managed to settle into the first quarter getting lots of interceptions. In particular Niah and Lilla did a fabulous job turning over the ball. There was a lot of pressure from the Clan Centre so we had to ensure good composure, which Claudia did very well at WA.

In the second quarter Alex came on as C and contested for the ball, got some good turnovers and conversions.
Shooting was on form with Skye, Gracie and Sophie playing in all combinations. They rebounded well and converted turnovers.

Freya moved to WA in the 3rd quarter where she drove very well through the middle of the court to void the gaps, with support from Daisy to reset. Gracie went back to GD where as a unit this meant that turnovers were more frequent.

The winning team would come down to how they handled the pressure. The score was within 1 goal after every the end of every quarter and I asked the girls to zone out the noise and focus on their game plan which they did.
