Swan Rubies (U14) lose to Eagles 27 - 56

Tough game against Eagles today where we had a clear focus. We were down to 8 players due to illness and injury which meant we had to conserve our energy.

There was some positive fluid play in the attacking third with Claudia, Freya and Aisling making some positive drives towards the ball.

Skye and Gracie both had some great shooting stats today, showing variety and determination against some very physical defence.

Coming into our efensive third Daisy, Aisling and Freya did a good job at keeping their attack off the circle edge.

Maddie and Lilla made some great interceptions and worked well together to gain turn overs.

A very positive team effort, where the girls were asked to beat the score they had the last time they played them, which they did. Well done everyone.
