Swan U19 lose out to Royals

Our away game with Royals at Windsor Girls School began with Royals taking an early lead, with a run of goals. The team worked hard though and the quarter ended 17-8 to Royals.
An extended injury time a couple of minutes into the second quarter did not seem to affect the girls determination and we matched Royals goal for goal for most of the quarter despite Alice's injury. However Royals had a run of goals at the end of the quarter which ended 36-17 to them.
The third quarter was our strongest and we won this quarter 15-14.
A great effort until the end but the match finished 65-40. A better performance than when we last met but lots still to work on.
