Swan Netball Club was well represented amongst the 7000 at Wembley SSE Arena on Sunday 5th February, with players and coaches enjoying the incredible netball on display from our Roses alongside the Silver Ferns, Australian Diamonds and South African Proteas.
The volume of the crowd, as England levelled and then went ahead of Australia in the first match was amazing. I think we were all a little hoarse by the end - SO CLOSE!
The second match was equally intense, although the score line was less stressful. The incredible shooting skills of Maria Tutaia were the highlight for the 3 Swannie junior shooters sat next to me.
Our coaches also bumped into Bailey Mes and Katrina Grant from the Silver Ferns.Some growing still to do!
