Hants 2 v The Jets

Hampshire 2 played an exciting match against the Jets. It was an evenly matched start to the game, with some good pressure from defence as the ball came down the court. In the latter part of the first quarter, Jets took a 5 goal lead. The second quarter was much more even, with great play across all areas. We managed to secure some brilliant shots, with some strong interceptions and tips as the ball came down. At half time the score was 13-20 to Jets. In the third quarter everyone on court became slightly more competitive, showing more determination to win back the ball. New combinations were tried out and communication increased. The final quarter was extremely tight between the two teams, Swan managed to score 5 fantastic shots in a row, despite Jets fierce defending. Our defence managed to get some great turn overs by working really well as a team and making sure we kept the ball in possession. Swan played extremely well overall, keeping our own against a strong team. Well done everyone!
