Good Day but a long day!

Rubies started the day with a tight win against Jellies 7-6 (not quite with up to speed).
2nd Game v Woodley was a different story with Woodley taking a good lead in the first half then in the 2nd half came back strong to leave us falling short by 1 game in a nail biting final minute to lose 9-8.
3rd & 4th games v Bournemouth & Peeks saw two good wins 15-1 & 13-3
5th game v Fareham Fireflies was a tight game leaving the sideline a bit tense until the final minute to pull out a 8-6 win.
With two games too go there were 4 teams in the hunt for the top two positions in the group. Trying to keep the girls focused on just their own games was tricky with curiosity getting the better of them.
A win against Wimborne 8-4 then meant it was down to the final game v Rushmoor. A win would put us through with a good team talk prior they achieve their goal with some lovely netball and won 12 - 1.
The semi final proved a difficult challenge with our South Regional rivals Eagles who won 13-3 who eventually won the Tournament beating Team Matrix in the final.
Well played you worked hard for one another all day.
