A trip to Reading saw the Swan Div 2 Regional team take on Eagles 2. From the first quarter Swan had some outstanding passages of play, with lots of interceptions and defensively making it very tough for Eagles to get through.

Some fantastic connections through the court ensured that Eagles were on the back foot. However, in the third quarter, Swan started off tired and a different side to how we started. Eagles began putting the pressure back on scoring a few in a row, pushing ever closer to within 5.

With a strong mental determination and willingness to close this game out, the fourth quarter Swan returned with fire in our bellies. A fantastic defensive performance from all involved on court, with some superb passages of play which we have worked hard on in training. A fantastic result of 35-42 for a decisive Swan win.
