In the senior Southampton League both Platinum and Diamonds played. In Div 2, Diamonds took on ravens Crests, hoping to maintain their unbeaten run and maintain their place at the top of the league. A 40-29 win means the team are in buoyant spirits and remain top of the league, with Mantha Broadway being named Players Player.

In the later match, Platinum took on Mavericks Blue. After a hard fought game, Platinum came out 41-37 winners. The next games in the league are on 29th October, when Platinum take on Ravens and Diamonds will play Fleming, both 11.50 start.
